Since the tour is about 60% on the lagoon we got to see the major sites like St. Mark’s Square and the Basilica Santa Maria. He also took us to Giudecaa to peek into some secret gardens. He is knowledgeable about the history of Venice and makes sure to answers everyone’s questions. He is generous with the drinks and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. He recommended some great restaurants and we ended up eating dinner with another couple on the tour!

He... read more was not only kind but also incredibly patient as we updated him about our flight delays and inevitable run-in with Italian trains. Alessandro? Absolute rockstar host. The boat ride was amazing, and we got a VIP tour of Venice's secret spots—like the Venice that only exists if you're cool enough to know Alessandro. If you're even remotely thinking about doing a boat tour... stop thinking. Alessandro's your guy. Plus, you get Prosecco, which, fun fact, I now know was born in the Venetian region. You get a boat ride and a Prosecco history lesson—what more could you ask for?
